Kasper,

Agree with you on Juno - couldn't quite get my head around it not winning the Oscar gong for best movie. The soundtrack is pretty awesome too.

Ahh, those are beautiful photos! That's definitely a lot more snow than we've gotten in our whole winter! I heard that Juno was a great movie but I still haven't seen it. From all the great things I heard about it, I would have thought it would win something!

Last time I watched the Oscars was when LOTR was nominated 11 times, haven't watched it since I think it's too overrated.

Whoa, look at all that snow! That must have been exhausting to shovel. I wish we'd had snow here this year but the best we really got was a mild smattering that made the paths slippery. That was a bit of an anti-climax, quite honestly.

Juno won nothing? How lame. That really was a very heartfelt and original movie, the concept and everything was just so engageable that I'm surprised it didn't win anything. I guess you're right about it not being "mainstream" enough - a movie about a teenage girl getting pregnant probably seemed to most like a cheap, shock-value emulation of "Knocked Up" even though the two are nothing alike.
